Communications Specialist

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Communications Specialist II or Journeyman in Arlington, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute clear, concise communications supporting security awareness, stakeholder outreach, training, public engagement, and CISA program initiatives.
• Develop and execute communications strategies.
• Draft and edit messaging, outreach materials, talking points, presentations, and digital content.
• Support publicawareness and stakeholder-engagement initiatives.
• Apply Government formatting, editing, plain-language, and style standards.
• Coordinate communications products through Government review and approval.
• Support messaging for targeted-violence prevention, security preparedness, UAS awareness, and related programs.
• Help adapt content for public, private, and nontraditional critical-infrastructure audiences.
• Required Qualifications and Experience
• Education: BA/BS or MA/MS.
• Work Experience: 4 years or more of experience leading the development and execution of communication strategies by using best practices to ensure messaging is clear and concise, and formatting and editing standards are met.
