William Buck, more than advisors
We understand that exceptional client experiences start with great people. At William Buck, we've created what we like to call the "just-right" model - a top-tier firm that's perfectly sized to ensure every employee has a tangible impact. We're large enough to offer exciting career opportunities and meaningful work, yet small enough for your contributions to be recognised and valued.
As our AML and regulatory obligations continue to evolve, we're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented AML Administrator to join our Business Advisory team and play a key role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our clients.
About the Role
We're seeking an organised and client-focused AML Administrator to support our client onboarding and compliance processes.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the onboarding journey for new clients, conducting AML checks, maintaining accurate compliance records, and working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. You'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, helping them navigate onboarding requirements while ensuring the firm remains compliant with evolving AML obligations.

- Review and verify client identification and beneficial ownership information.
- Maintain accurate client compliance records and documentation.
- Support ongoing due diligence and periodic client reviews.

Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely and professional communication regarding onboarding and AML requirements.
- Follow up outstanding documentation and assist clients through the compliance process.
- Collaborate with Partners and client-facing teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed of changes to AML legislation and industry requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of onboarding and compliance processes.
- Assist in maintaining process documentation, templates and procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring
- Previous experience in administration, client onboarding, AML, KYC, compliance, banking, professional services or financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and client management systems.
- An interest in compliance, regulatory requirements and continuous learning.
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
What We Offer

- Why William Buck?
- At William Buck, we believe people perform at their best when they're supported to be themselves. We pride ourselves on creating a workplace that values collaboration, authenticity and professional growth.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a keen eye for detail, and is looking to develop their expertise in client onboarding, compliance and AML within a leading professional services firm.
