As a Data Analyst at Sheppard Benefits Group, you will play a pivotal role in providing meaningful and actionable data insights to help drive business decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and creating reports to help improve our overall company performance and achieve our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from various sources
• Develop data models and algorithms to extract key insights and improve data accuracy
• Communicate data findings and analyses to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor and track key performance indicators
• Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot any data-related issues
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
• 3+ years of proven work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience working with large datasets and data mining techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data in a simple and understandable way
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Previous experience in the employee benefits or insurance industry is a plus
