FP&A Consolidations Manager

United States Hybrid Full-time

Location: United States of America

Yahoo serves as a trusted guide for hundreds of millions of people globally, helping them achieve their goals online through our portfolio of iconic products. For advertisers, Yahoo Advertising offers omnichannel solutions and powerful data to engage with our brands and deliver results.

A Little About Us

The Core FP&A team helps to drive success by providing our business partners and key stakeholders with the operational support, insights, and direction essential to continue growing our business. We are responsible for delivering the financial forecast, providing senior leaders with strategic recommendations, and continuing to drive profitable growth across Yahoo's digital media and consumer portfolio.

A Lot About You

The ideal candidate will be someone who is energized by taking a manual, fragmented process and turning it into something automated, documented, and trusted.

You have deep experience with driver-based forecasting and take ownership of the consolidated number. You have a commitment to connecting operational data to financial outcomes, and can explain what is moving the number to an audience that has never seen the model. You are hands-on with enterprise planning systems and modern AI-augmented analytical workflows, proactively seeking ways to automate analysis and reduce reporting friction. You are organized, hold a high bar for accuracy and data governance, and build strong cross-functional partnerships that allow you to challenge assumptions constructively.

Your Day

This role is in the Consumer Finance organization, within our central consolidations team.

We are looking for an experienced individual contributor (IC4) to own the revenue reporting side of our consolidated financials. Your primary responsibility will be focused on consolidated revenue reporting and the operational driver layer beneath it, validating what comes in from across the portfolio, holding the business units to a consistent standard, and turning marketing spend into a measurable return story. You will own marketing performance reporting and the framework used to evaluate marketing investment, partnering closely with Marketing, divisional finance teams, Data, and Accounting.

This is a build role as much as a reporting one: you will automate and standardize consolidated reporting, analyze the driver models behind it, and leverage enterprise AI tools to enable deep portfolio reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Own the intake and validation of revenue submissions from across the business, including tie-outs, completeness checks, and sanity flags
  • Deliver weekly consolidated reporting and forecasting, including revenue variance analysis and driver commentary across the portfolio
  • Utilize enterprise generative AI tools (such as Claude or Gemini) to accelerate variance analysis and draft narrative commentary across portfolio divisions
  • Build and maintain operational reporting across the full revenue funnel, spanning advertising and subscription revenue, including cross-portfolio benchmarking on funnel and P&L performance
  • Own marketing performance reporting and dashboards — spend, campaign and channel performance, ROI and payback — and the framework used to evaluate new marketing initiatives
  • Run marketing budgeting and forecasting end to end: submissions, review cycles, allocation and tracking, and accrual and expense phasing inputs to Accounting
  • Own the data layer behind all of it — revenue and marketing pipelines, source-to-P&L mapping and normalization rules, automated validation checks, and the metric and definition dictionary
  • Drive automation and standardization of the consolidation and driver models, replacing manual assembly with documented, repeatable processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field

5+ years of experience in FP&A, revenue analytics, marketing finance, or business operations, ideally including digital media, advertising, or subscription business experience

Proven experience with driver-based forecasting — able to build a revenue estimate from operational inputs and defend it

Strong grasp of marketing measurement: ROI, payback, attribution limitations, and channel and campaign economics

Working knowledge of the P&L across revenue, marketing spend, and accruals, and how each ties back to reported actuals, supported by strong quantitative skills and attention to detail

Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI-assisted analytical tools (e.g., enterprise generative AI, forecast automation, agentic data workflows) to compress reporting cycles and deepen analysis; Claude experience preferred

Advanced Excel and Google Sheets experience, including large-model hygiene and version discipline, and the ability to create visuals that tell a cohesive story

Hands-on experience with an enterprise planning system such as Oracle EPM, Anaplan, or Hyperion, and with building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI

Demonstrated AI-forward mindset, including openness to experimenting with emergent financial automation tools and adapting to evolving, AI-augmented operating environments

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and to operate effectively in a fast-paced, lean organization

The material job duties and responsibilities of this role include those listed above as well as adhering to Yahoopolicies;exercising sound judgment;working effectively, safely and inclusively with others;exhibiting trustworthinessandmeeting expectations;and safeguarding business operations and brand integrity.
