What We're Looking For

Your Team and Mission

As a WLAN Testing and Solutions Engineer in Holtsville, NY, you will join the Connectivity team within the Zebra Enterprise Mobility and Visibility organization. Our mission is to deliver seamless, robust voice and data network connectivity solutions to our enterprise customers worldwide. These wireless configurations act as the critical lifelines powering mission-critical business applications, ensuring warehouse personnel, healthcare workers, and retail staff can run their operations globally without interruption.

Your Impact

You will play a vital role in validating, designing, and testing complex customer use cases for our next-generation WLAN and Bluetooth solutions. By maintaining and updating our core lab environments and developing automated test suites, you directly contribute to the quality and reliability of the connectivity modules inside millions of Zebra devices globally. Your work will directly expand our value proposition, ensuring that our mobile hardware remains the industry benchmark for wireless performance and seamless enterprise-grade roaming.

Location: Role is based in Holtsville, NY - Hybrid/3 days onsite

Responsibilities

• Establishes requirements for less complex Android networking software components and network protocol stack designs.
• Works on Completing all phases of software engineering design and WLAN testing projects.
• Works on analysis of test processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders.
• Analyzes test results and recommends solutions for wireless performance.
• Works on developing expected results on a variety of Zebra mobile products.
• Develops documentation for new projects (including functional test plans and requirements) and reviews previous results.
• Works with latest technologies and new approaches in automated and manual WLAN testing.
• Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or tests.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments.
