The Sr Manager, Financial Accounting is primarily responsible for

• Manage the accounting function to ensure that the company’s book of record is accurate, complete and fairly represents the financial position and results of operations of the company.
• Oversight of trial balance and accompanying account reconciliations.
• Ensure that financial internal controls are effective and functioning.
• Coordinate and comply with external auditing and reporting requirements.
• Provide resource for adhoc reporting and analysis.
• We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

• BA/BS accounting, finance or related degree required.
• CERTIFICATES/LICENSES, ETC.:
• CPA and/or MBA certification preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Eight (8) years relevant experience in auditing, accounting, business and systems analysis and project management.

Six (6) years of specific financial accounting and reporting

Understanding of GAAP and accounting concepts to optimize, improve and drive problem solving and improvements to existing process

Large ERP experience, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred

Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications

Ability to meet strict deadlines, while remaining flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment

Demonstrated ability to assess priorities; manage multiple projects simultaneously; and work well under pressure

Able to motivate and mobilize others; creates a team culture where everyone wants to do their best and deliver results

Sets team direction by translating broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and individual goals, aligning appropriately with other groups for efficient, coordinated action

Holds others accountable by monitoring progress and results, and giving effective feedback in a timely manner; able to make tough decisions when appropriate
