About the role
Location: Belgrade
Founded in Switzerland in 1968, Zühlke is owned by its partners and located across Europe and Asia. We are a global transformation partner, with engineering and innovation in our DNA. We're trusted to help clients envision and build their businesses for the future – to run smarter today while adapting for tomorrow’s markets, customers, and communities. Our multidisciplinary teams specialise in tech strategy and business innovation, digital solutions and applications, and device and systems engineering.
We excel in complex, regulated spaces including health and finance, connecting strategy, tech implementation, and operational services to help clients become more effective, resilient businesses.
If you share our values and want to do the best work, for the right reasons, we can offer you the chance to do it on a global scale and play a real role in shaping our exciting journey.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to help shape how Zühlke builds AI capabilities across the organisation.
In this six-month role, you will lead the design and development of our Group-wide AI Capability Framework and learning curriculum, helping colleagues understand the AI skills they need for their roles, how to develop them, and how their progress will be assessed and recognised.
Working closely with our CTO Office, People & Culture, internal experts and external learning partners, you will translate business needs into structured learning pathways, capability frameworks and meaningful development opportunities.
This is a strategic design and programme management role. You will define the learning architecture, coordinate stakeholders and drive the programme forward, ensuring that what we build is practical, scalable and sustainable beyond the initial six months.
How you’ll make an impact
- Design and develop Zühlke's AI capability framework, defining the skills and proficiency levels required across different roles and functions.
- Create structured learning curricula and development pathways that support colleagues in building relevant AI capabilities.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, technical experts and business leaders to understand capability needs and translate them into practical learning solutions.
- Define the approach to assessing and recognising AI capabilities, including assessments, certifications and digital badges.
- Lead the AI Curriculum & Capability Programme, coordinating activities, priorities, milestones and deliverables across multiple teams and countries.
- Plan and coordinate pilot initiatives, gather feedback and support the phased rollout of the programme across the organisation.
- Identify and collaborate with internal experts and external learning partners to develop and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Establish learning design standards and frameworks that can be applied consistently across the organisation.
- Work with People & Culture and other stakeholders to align AI capability development with Zühlke's career and development frameworks.
- Define how learning effectiveness will be measured, and use insights and feedback to continuously improve the programme.
What’s important to us
- Extensive experience in Learning & Development, ideally within a technology, engineering, consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven experience designing learning curricula, capability frameworks or structured learning programmes from scratch.
- Strong programme or project management skills, with experience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience translating business needs and skills requirements into practical learning strategies, frameworks and development pathways.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and technical experts, with the ability to influence decisions, challenge constructively and build alignment.
- A solid understanding of learning design principles, skills frameworks and approaches to assessing learning effectiveness.
- An interest in AI and how it is transforming the skills people need at work. Previous experience developing AI-related learning programmes would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver results within ambitious timelines.
- A pragmatic, structured and collaborative approach, combined with the ability to navigate ambiguity and turn complex ideas into actionable plans.
- Experience working across different countries, functions or business units, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at different levels of the organisation.
- Fluency in English and confidence working with colleagues and stakeholders across different cultures and locations.
- If you feel you don't meet all the requirements, we are still happy to get to know you, learn more about your ambitions and ideas and look forward to receiving your application!
- We welcome people from all backgrounds, regardless of their gender, personality, national origin, race, religion, colour, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, disability or veteran status.
- Additional Locations: Sofia, Porto
