Project Role : Technology Support Engineer

Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mac Application Packaging & Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in VMware Workspace ONE and Mac device management. The role will involve application packaging, deployment, troubleshooting, and administration of Mac devices in an enterprise environment.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Workspace ONE UEM for Mac application packaging, deployment, and Mac device management.
• Experience with App Packager Tool for Mac application packaging.
• Hands-on experience with Workspace ONE Access.
• Experience with Workspace ONE Intelligence for reporting, dashboards, and device/application insights.
• Knowledge of Workspace ONE Enterprise Connector and its integration/use cases.
• Experience with Workspace ONE Admin Assistant for application packaging and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Jamf Packaging Tool.
• Experience with MunkiPkg for Mac application packaging.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Mac application installation, deployment, and configuration issues.
• Good understanding of macOS application lifecycle management and enterprise Mac support.

Key Responsibilities

• Package, test, deploy, and troubleshoot Mac applications using Workspace ONE and related packaging tools.
• Manage Mac applications and devices through Workspace ONE UEM.
• Create and maintain application packages using Admin Assistant, App Packager, Jamf Packaging Tool, and MunkiPkg.
• Troubleshoot application deployment failures and installation issues.
• Support Workspace ONE Access and Enterprise Connector-related issues.
• Develop and maintain Workspace ONE Intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with EUC/Endpoint teams on Mac device management, application deployment, and operational support.
• Follow enterprise standards for application packaging, testing, documentation, and deployment.

Good-to-Have

• Experience supporting macOS in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of macOS scripting, configuration profiles, certificates, and PKG/DMG application deployment.
• Experience with enterprise Mac security and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in an ITIL-based support environment.
• 15 years full time education
