Summary

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role focuses on building robust test automation frameworks using Playwright & Selenium with Java

and validating application functionality through strong testing practices. The candidate is expected to work independently, contribute to automation strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while leveraging Agile methodologies and modern tools

to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align product goals with business objectives.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Strong automation knowledge in Playwright
• Good automation knowledge in Selenium with Java.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks
• Knowledge of defect lifecycle and defect management tools
• Familiarity with ALM Octane or similar test management tools is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile methodology.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks end-to-end.
• Knowledge on using AI tools (Copilot) for improving testing efficiency.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
