Application Developer

Location: Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using modern Java and cloud technologies. In this role, you will work across backend services, frontend applications, databases, and cloud storage while collaborating with cross-functional technology and business teams.

You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution design and development through testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Node.js.
• Build and enhance responsive frontend applications using React.js.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs to support reliable communication between applications and services.
• Work with Oracle Database and PL/SQL, including query development, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Develop and support solutions leveraging Azure Storage Services, including Blob Storage, File Shares, and Table Storage.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve system stability and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, release activities, and source-code management using technologies such as Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, DevOps, business, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 4–10 years of relevant software development experience, with hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong programming experience with Java, including Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with frontend development using React.js and backend development using Node.js.
• Experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Practical experience with Azure Storage Services, such as Blob Storage, File Shares, and Table Storage.
• Experience with software engineering and DevOps practices and tools, including Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or modernizing applications that use Struts.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted software development practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to independently manage assigned development activities while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Relevant functional or domain knowledge applicable to complex enterprise systems.
