Amazon Technology/Software

Sr. Partner Marketing Manager, Global ISV Partner Marketing

Austin, TX In person Full-time

This highly visible role will own the Global Partner Marketing Strategy for a dedicated cohort of AWS Software & Technology partners, serving as the primary marketing owner of the partner relationship. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B and partner/alliance marketing, coupled with hands-on experience owning joint marketing plans, managing partner marketing budgets, and building executive-level partner relationships.

You will be the subject matter expert on your cohort — accountable for the global co-marketing initiatives with and through those partners across sales segments and geographies. The role will build and own a joint marketing plan with each partner in the cohort, aligning partner and AWS priorities into a single global co-marketing strategy and plan that drives pipeline and revenue. You will manage the global marketing budget for your cohort partner(s) — including MDF (Market Development Funds) — allocating investment across geographies and activities to maximize pipeline return, and holding partners accountable to agreed goals.

You will set the strategy centrally and steer the Geo partner marketing teams to execute regionally, ensuring local activation ladders up to the global plan. This role requires a proven leader with the demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop compelling joint value propositions and messaging with technology partners. Working closely with partners, partner management, sales, and marketing teams, you will define the joint value narrative — identifying the priority use-cases, customer personas, and industry verticals — and ensure that value prop is consistently carried into every co-marketing motion across the cohort.

The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship manager with analytic, data-driven judgment and a proven track record of building partner marketing strategies that drive pipeline and revenue. Critically, you will lead a v-team of Geo partner marketers — in addition to influencing key stakeholders across product, field, sales, and brand — coordinating them toward your cohort's marketing goals without direct authority.

The ability to communicate and influence across both technical and non-technical audiences is essential. You should be organized, comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities, and able to manage multiple partner relationships at once. A solid understanding of the cloud landscape and software providers is critical to this role. At AWS we prize innovation, agility and a builder mentality. The organization is purposefully flat to enable fast decision-making and we are empowered to resolve issues, deliver new ideas and optimize existing ones that serve our customers.

This is an individual contributor role that is both strategic and tactical: you will own the strategy, the joint plan, and the budget for your cohort, while orchestrating a v-team and partner stakeholders to execute — leading through influence as the composer who also knows the score. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an incredibly fast-growing business where you will work with some of the leading technology providers.

AWS gives customers secure, scalable, global cloud infrastructure while paying only for what they use. Scaling through partners is a key part of how we help customers move to cloud services that power strategic workloads. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, a history of success owning partner marketing strategy and budgets, experience managing large ISV partner relationships, and love helping partners reach their full potential, this position might be just for you.
