Principal Tech Program Manager , Sponsored Products and Brands

Seattle, WA In person Full-time

Sponsored Services is Amazon's performance advertising solution for local and online service providers (plumbers, restaurants, salons, fitness instructors, and more), connecting them with high-intent Amazon customers through a conversational AI ad format that completes outcomes — quote requests, bookings, reservations, calls — directly within the ad. We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end technical delivery of this program, orchestrating dependencies across product, engineering, sales, marketing, legal, and finance to hit our launch milestones of open beta (2026) and general availability (2027).

Key job responsibilities - Own the end-to-end program plan across closed beta, open beta, and GA, sequencing the Amazon Ads API launch, Ad Console integration, and vertical expansion. - Lead cross-functional execution of the program's critical pillars — measurement, demand generation, partner diversification, consumer trust and liability, auction/pricing model, formats — driving mitigation plans to closure. - Manage compliance and readiness workstreams tracked in Launchpad, including billing/tax integration and Advertising Trust Policy onboarding, and partner with MADS to finalize reporting dimensions and the attribution approach ahead of GA. - Coordinate the Ad Console onboarding redesign (pre-populated business profiles, conversational agent path) and the API workflow rollout for direct advertisers, agencies (via Manager Accounts), and 3P partners. - Facilitate GTM gate reviews and executive readiness reviews, preparing exit-criteria tracking and communicating status, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders; track dependencies with adjacent programs. - Establish program-level metrics and status reporting (adoption pacing, verticals live, partner onboarding) against the 200,000-plus advertiser campaign target by end of 2027, and drive continuous improvement in how the program scales across partners and milestones.
