What the day will look like

As a QA Engineer, you will support the quality and reliability of web-based applications by crafting and driving effective test scenarios. You will detect issues early and cooperate with development teams throughout the delivery process.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Crafting and implementing detailed test plans along with test scenarios covering functional requirements, edge cases and critical user journeys ys.
• Performing regression, system integration and user acceptance testing for new features and changes across the platform.
• Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects, providing developers with clear reproduction steps, evidence and relevant environment details.
• Contributing to test automation through frameworks including Selenium and Playwright, helping improve test coverage and make testing more efficient.
• Interacting directly with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria and identify potential quality risks before implementation.
• Maintaining QA documentation and supporting continuous improvements in testing practices, including the responsible use of AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Around 3 years of professional Quality Assurance experience, including hands-on testing of web applications and experience crafting detailed test scenarios and test cases.

Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, testing processes and defect management, with experience in regression and system integration testing.

Experience with test automation concepts and scripting in Selenium or Playwright.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of web technologies and the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile delivery.

Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, Business Analysts and other team members while prioritising multiple priorities.

Experience with CI/CD-integrated automated testing, SQL for data validation, accessibility standards such as WCAG, HR technology or talent assessment platforms would be an advantage.
