This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys building scalable datasolutions,workingwithmodernAWStechnologies,andsolvingcomplexdatachallenges.You'llplayakeyroleindevelopingreliabledatapipelinesandlakehouseplatformsthatsupportanalytics,reporting,anddecision-makingacrossthebusiness.

Although this role allows for primarily remote working, there is a requirement to attend the Redditch office at least once a month.

What You'll Be Doing

AsaDataEngineer,you'lldesign,develop,andmaintaincloud-nativedatasolutionsthatensuredataisaccurate,accessible,andtrusted.

Keyresponsibilitiesinclude

DesigninganddevelopingscalabledatapipelinesusingPythonandPySpark

BuildingandoptimisingdataworkflowsusingAWSGlue,Athena,Redshift,andrelatedAWSservices

Supportingmodernlakehousearchitectures,includingApacheIceberg

• WorkingwithrelationalandNoSQLdatabasestoensuredataisreliableandfitforpurpose
• Collaboratingwithanalysts,engineers,productowners,andstakeholderswithinanAgileenvironment
• Troubleshootingdataissues,improvingpipelineperformance,andsupportingproductionsystems
• Maintainingtechnicaldocumentationandcontributingtoengineeringbestpractice

• DegreeinComputerScience,DataEngineering,SoftwareEngineering,Mathematics,orarelateddiscipline
