Australia Post Transportation

Digital Content Producer

Richmond, VA Hybrid Full-time

Working in tech at Australia Post is where innovation and problem solving meets great people and agile working. You’ll work with bright people on building and maintaining products and services that you and every other Australian get to benefit from every day. Whether you’re working from our modern office or your one at home, you’ll be part of a culture of collaboration and connection, making long-lasting impact right across Australia.

About the opportunity

This is an 8-month fixed-term opportunity, Melbourne based, with hybrid working and three days in the office.

As our Digital Content Producer, you’ll help shape how customers experience Australia Post online, creating and improving content across our websites, Online Shop and other digital channels. You’ll combine your content writing skills, UX and data to make information easier to find, understand and act on, while helping our digital experiences deliver stronger customer and business outcomes.

From developing content and designing page layouts through to analysing performance and optimising the customer journey, you’ll have the opportunity to own work from idea through to delivery and see the impact of your changes quickly. You’ll join a collaborative team where people share the load, move at pace and work together to deliver great digital experiences.

You’ll also

  • Create engaging, user-focused digital content across Australia Post websites, product pages, the Online Shop, and other digital assets.
  • Use customer research, analytics and internal data to understand user needs and develop content for different audiences and customer journeys.
  • Develop and optimise content and page experiences to increase engagement, conversion and overall customer experience.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, data and technology teams, influencing stakeholders and providing advice on best-practice digital content and communications.
  • Manage content through its lifecycle, keeping information accurate, relevant, accessible and up to date.

About you

You’re a natural storyteller who understands that great digital content is about more than the words on a page. You think about the customer journey, experience and outcome, and use insights and data to understand what’s working and where there’s an opportunity to make it better.

You’ll enjoy working at pace, juggling competing priorities and collaborating with different parts of the business. Most importantly, you can bring stakeholders along with you, confidently using your content expertise to influence decisions and keep the customer at the centre.

You’ll also need

Strong content writing and digital experience, with the ability to create clear, persuasive, and customer-focused content across digital channels.

Sound knowledge of UX, SEO and analytics, with the ability to use performance data and insights to improve content and customer outcomes.

Experience planning and delivering digital content, communications, or campaigns, ideally across channels such as websites, eDM and social media.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to navigate differing views while keeping work moving.

Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-moving environment.

What else is in it for you?

All walks, one route

It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you’ve got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at [email protected] or on 03 8737 9415.
