Job Role
We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce expert to help improve the quality and reliability of products built for complex Salesforce engineering environments.
The role combines platform engineering, technical investigation, scenario design, and product validation. You will recreate real-world development and release challenges, establish technically correct outcomes, identify edge cases, and work with Product and Engineering teams to improve product behaviour.
This role is suited to someone who understands how Salesforce behaves beyond the happy path.
Key Responsibilities
Design realistic Salesforce development, configuration, and release scenarios.
Establish expected outcomes and clear technical acceptance criteria.
Validate product behavior across metadata, code, security, integrations, and deployment workflows.
Investigate incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent results.
Reproduce complex failures across orgs, sandboxes, API versions, and release configurations.
Build reusable technical assets that improve product coverage and prevent regressions.
Analyze dependencies, deployment sequencing, environment drift, and configuration differences.
Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize platform gaps and improve reliability.
Track Salesforce platform releases and assess their impact on supported workflows.
Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls
Pride of Ownership
We value pride of ownership. Understand the customer, the product and the market need; form a clear, evidence-based opinion about how the product can improve; and work with others to turn that opinion into results. Strong coding skills and effective use of AI matter, but accountability continues after a feature is shipped. Be willing to challenge assumptions, listen to feedback and change your view when the evidence changes.
