About the team

Cisco Webex Customer Experience is building Connected Intelligence: an operating model that brings customer interactions, human and AI agents, workflows, and enterprise systems together. It is organised around four pillars: an intelligent front door, context-driven orchestration, an extensible AI-native platform, and trust and security by design.

As an AI Solutions Consultant, you will help make this approach real through working demonstrations, customer prototypes, integrations, and repeatable use cases. You will work alongside AI Solution Consultants, Forward Deployed Engineers, account teams, partners, product managers, and engineering teams.

You will translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions using APIs, webhooks, enterprise systems, AI Agent Studio, and modern AI application-development practices. You will help move ideas from concept to validated use case, while building the technical depth required to support production deployments over time.

You will deliver three outcomes from each engagement: a working solution, evidence that the use case creates customer value, and a reusable implementation pattern.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer use cases and solution designs into technical build plans and working prototypes.
  • Build integrations using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and enterprise platforms.
  • Configure and develop conversational AI and workflow experiences using Webex AI capabilities and Webex AI Agent Studio.
  • Connect AI experiences to Salesforce, ServiceNow, CRM platforms, contact-centre systems, knowledge sources, and enterprise APIs.
  • Develop use cases involving AI agents, voice experiences, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow automation, and real-time analytics where appropriate.
  • Create customer demonstrations, technical prototypes, pilots, and proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Map data flows, system dependencies, events, actions, error conditions, and human hand-offs.
  • Apply practical controls for security, privacy, access, observability, testing, and operational reliability.
  • Test integrations and AI experiences for accuracy, latency, resilience, usability, and appropriate escalation.
  • Instrument solutions so customer and internal teams can measure usage, quality, adoption, and business outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot integration, configuration, data, and AI behaviour issues with support from senior engineers and product teams.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, design reviews, and pilot readouts.
  • Work with AI Solution Consultants and FDEs to refine requirements and prepare solutions for production deployment.
  • Capture product gaps and implementation lessons with clear technical detail and customer impact.
  • Document reusable integrations, configuration patterns, use cases, demonstrations, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Contribute to internal enablement, solution libraries, reference architectures, and pre-built assets.
  • 5+ years of experience building software, integrations, automation, or enterprise technology solutions; demonstrated technical ability may substitute for tenure.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, or a comparable programming language.
  • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, authentication, data transformation, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Git, debugging, testing, logging, and basic software-development practices.
  • Familiarity with at least one major LLM ecosystem or AI application-development framework.
  • Understanding of conversational AI, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, or workflow automation.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and learn unfamiliar platforms quickly.
  • Experience working with customers, internal stakeholders, or cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15 to 25 percent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CCaaS, CPaaS, CRM, contact-centre operations, or customer-experience technology.
  • Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, IVR platforms, call-routing systems, knowledge bases, or enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Webex Customer Experience products and services.
  • Experience building conversational or voice-agent prototypes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, event-driven integrations, OAuth, queues, or serverless workflows.
  • Familiarity with observability, automated testing, security controls, and production-readiness practices.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, implementation guides, demonstrations, or reusable code assets.
