Job Title: Resident Engineer - Senior IT Manager (Network

& Infrastructure)

Role Overview

• We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Manager to manage and oversee
• the organization's Network Infrastructure, Citrix Virtual Desktop
• Infrastructure (VDI), and VPN environments.
• The role involves managing network and VDI operations, supervising technical
• teams and support resources, ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple
• locations, and maintaining the stability, security and performance of the
• overall infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Network,
• Citrix VDI and VPN technologies, along with the ability to manage teams,
• vendors, infrastructure projects and operational deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Network & Infrastructure Management

·Manage

and maintain end-to-end network connectivity across approximately 150 branches.

·Oversee

connectivity between Data Centres (DC), Head Office (HO), branches and cloud

infrastructure.

·Ensure

network availability, performance, reliability and security.

·Monitor

network infrastructure and proactively identify and resolve connectivity

issues.

·Understand

network architecture, infrastructure dependencies and the impact of proposed

changes.

• Citrix VDI & VPN Management

·Manage

and maintain the Citrix VDI environment, ensuring optimal performance and

availability.

·Oversee

VPN infrastructure, remote access connectivity and associated support

operations.

·Troubleshoot

complex technical issues related to Network, Citrix VDI and VPN environments.

·Evaluate

infrastructure changes and assess their impact on associated systems and

services.

• Team & Operations Management

·Supervise

• and coordinate Network and VDI engineers, support teams and external vendors.
• ·Assign,
• review and track daily workloads, service tickets, escalations and project
• deliverables.

·Provide

technical guidance and support to team members in resolving complex technical

and operational issues.

·Ensure

timely resolution of incidents and adherence to defined SLAs.

·Coordinate

with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth IT infrastructure

operations.

• Vendor, Contract & License Management

·Manage

vendor relationships and third-party technical support resources.

·Track

and manage infrastructure-related contracts, support agreements and license

renewals.

·Ensure

timely renewals and continuity of vendor support services.

·Monitor

vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual and service commitments.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

·Minimum

5+ years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Network, Citrix VDI

and VPN environments.

·Strong

technical knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, architecture and

infrastructure management.

·Good

understanding of Citrix VDI architecture, deployment, administration and

troubleshooting.

·Strong

knowledge of VPN technologies and remote access infrastructure.

·Experience

in managing multi-location network connectivity and Data Centre infrastructure.

·Understanding

of infrastructure architecture, interdependencies, change management and

associated impact assessments.

·Experience

in supervising technical teams, managing escalations and coordinating with

vendors.

·Strong

problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

·Ability

to manage multiple priorities and ensure operational continuity.
