Senior Marketing Specialist

Houston, TX In person Full-time

Be the Voice of a 190-Year-Old Legend

Since 1833, Cooper Machinery Services has built and serviced the engines and compressors that keep the world’s energy moving. Cooper-Bessemer, Ajax, Superior, Gemini, and more are names that mean something in the field. We support more than 22,000 units around the globe.

Now we need someone to tell that story. As our Senior Marketing Specialist, you’ll own how Cooper shows up for customers and the industry. That means our website, social channels, literature, ads, video, and tradeshow booths. You’ll work with leaders and teams across the company, and your work will be seen by customers and decision-makers worldwide. If you want a role where you can write, design, shoot, and build, and where your ideas get used, this is it.

What You Will Do

  • Run our digital presence: Maintain and develop the company website, social media pages, and SEO. Keep content, photos, and videos current, and monitor comments with help from internal experts so customers get accurate answers.
  • Measure what works: Track and report website and social analytics, and use the results to guide content decisions.
  • Create sales-ready literature: Design brochures, fact sheets, and sales tools that make complex products easy to understand.
  • Develop promotional materials: Design new promotional items, maintain the company storefront, manage inventory, and work with vendors, including processing their invoices.
  • Support customer and executive presentations: Provide significant PowerPoint support for customer-facing and senior management presentations.
  • Place print advertising: Design, create, and place ads in industry publications.
  • Write and edit: Write and copy-edit content for web pages, brochures, tradeshow graphics, social graphics, and publications.
  • Capture the work: Photograph and film company events, products, machinery, and project activities, then edit the images and footage for their intended use.
  • Coordinate tradeshows: Work with show organizers on space and logistics, schedule customer events, oversee booth placement, setup, and teardown, create graphics, and process invoices.
