As a Software Development Engineer II at CSG, with 3-5 years' experience to join our dynamic team at CSG Systems, Inc. In this role, The India-based CSG Resource will generally perform services during 1:30 p.m. IST to 9:30 p.m. IST, be present in the DISH offices Tuesday through Thursday, and work remotely on Monday and Friday, in either Hyderabad or Bangalore unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing.

We are looking for Software Development Engineer II who will:

You will design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.

You will analyze client and business requirements and contribute to technical solutions.

You will develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

You will participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.

You will collaborate with developers, technical leads, product owners, and other stakeholders.

You will participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to Agile planning and delivery.

You will support CI/CD processes and continuous improvement of development practices

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

3+ years of professional experience in Java development.

Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

Experience with Gradle for build automation and dependency management.

Experience working with databases and SQL, with knowledge of JPA and Hibernate.

Experience developing and integrating SOAP and REST web services/APIs.

Basic understanding of client requirements and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Ability to develop algorithms, write clean and maintainable code, perform unit testing, debug and troubleshoot code, and document technical solutions.

Understanding of unit testing and integration testing practices.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.

Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and command-line tools.

Experience using Git for source code management.

Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.

Familiar with any AI Code Assistant tools is a plus.
