JOB PURPOSE
- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer II with strong technical expertise in RMB, ETL, Web, SimplifyQA.
- Should be able to work on complex requirements, should have very strong logical and analysis skills.
- Should be able to capture the various scenarios for SIT, Regression and End to End testing based on the requirements.
- Good documentation skills to work on the various testing related artifacts.
- Should be able to raise risks or issues related to the deliverables in time.
- Good communication skills.
- Communicate/Collaborate with relevant onshore/offshore stakeholders to ensure quality delivery is done as per commitment (including Anthem Vendors).
- Quick learner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Primary Duties
- Should be able to understand technical and functional requirements.
- SIT test scenarios covered should be exhaustive.
- Follow testing standards.
- Test Plan review process to be followed and quality of the deliverables needs to be met.
- Resolve technical issues/ errors while executing the jobs/testing.
- Work independently, with minimal guidance.
- Always deliver within the committed timelines.
- Should be able to scale up and learn new functions in the team.
- Communicate/Collaborate onshore/offshore team members with respect deliverables.
- Should be able articulate regarding his/her work/project.
- Should be able to take responsibility as POC of a team and mentor other associates.
- Soft skills to gel with the team and involve in team building activities.
- Participate in all team activities.
- Attend and report/discuss regarding daily work/impediments in daily SCRUM calls
- Flexible to extend work hours as per project demand (Sometimes during weekends)
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
6+ years of experience in Java or web testing, Minimum of RMB testing is mandatory.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in testing.
- Strong understanding of ORMB configuration setup, including pricing eligibility criteria, pricing setup, TFM rules, rate schedules, and account and customer management
- Strong understanding of billing concepts and processes, including invoice construct, accounts, billing process, and accrual process
- Strong experience in SQL/PL-SQL, Rest Services, and API testing
- Mainframe is added advantage
- Should have hands on experience in Batch and Online testing
- Effective Organizational, time-Management and decision-making skills Expert analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to oversee defects and result validation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
