Supplier Governance and Resilience Manager, in Technology OCIO

Permanent

Full Time

Leeds / London

As Supplier Governance & Resilience Manager, you will support the effective oversight of Technology suppliers, ensuring supplier arrangements are managed in line with Bank policy, risk appetite and regulatory expectations.

You will operate and continuously improve the Technology Supplier Risk Framework, with a particular focus on Cloud Service Providers, material suppliers and outsourced service providers. This includes maintaining the processes, tools, reporting and assurance activities required to identify, assess and manage supplier-related risks in a consistent and proportionate manner.

Working across Technology, Procurement, Risk and Operational Resilience, you will help translate policy and regulatory requirements into practical activities that strengthen supplier oversight and resilience across the Technology supply chain.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and mature a growing supplier management capability, driving greater consistency, transparency and continuous improvement in how Technology suppliers are governed, monitored and managed.

A day in the role

As Supplier Governance & Resilience Manager, your day will focus on helping the Bank understand, monitor and strengthen the resilience of Technology supplier arrangements.

Your morning may involve reviewing a supplier risk assessment or assurance submission. You will analyse supplier evidence, validate findings against agreed criteria and update reporting and dashboards to provide clear insight into risks, control gaps, remediation actions and emerging trends. A key aspect of the role is transforming supplier information into meaningful intelligence that supports effective decision-making and oversight.

Throughout the day, you will work closely with suppliers, Technology teams, Procurement, Risk and Operational Resilience colleagues to coordinate assurance activities and manage resulting actions. This may involve assessing assurance reports, certifications, business continuity arrangements, exit planning documentation and financial information to evaluate supplier resilience and risk exposure.

You will provide clear recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring supplier-related risks are understood, appropriately managed and escalated where necessary. Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders will be critical to delivering effective oversight while maintaining a proportionate and pragmatic approach.

The role offers the opportunity to influence how supplier resilience is managed across Technology, helping to strengthen controls, improve visibility of risk and support the Bank's wider operational resilience objectives.
