Lead Network Engineer - Hybrid Load Balancer

We are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to standardize, optimize, and manage the lifecycle of enterprise load-balancing platforms across physical, virtual, cloud, and container environments. Responsibilities Design end-to-end hybrid load balancing architectures to securely distribute client requests across on-premises servers, private clouds, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Configure and manage advanced load balancing algorithms such as Round Robin, Least Connections, IP Hash, and Geo-proximity/Latency-based routing Administer enterprise ADC and load balancing platforms, including F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM), VMware Avi Load Balancer (NSX Advanced LB), and native cloud balancers (AWS ALB/NLB, Azure Front Door/Load Balancer) Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Python/Bash scripts to automate load balancer provisioning, certificate rotation, and policy updates Ensure SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management, web application firewall (WAF) integration, DDoS mitigation, and secure traffic policies across hybrid perimeters Perform L3/L4 root-cause analyses to maintain platform reliability and troubleshoot complex network issues Requirements 8-12 years of total experience in network engineering, including a minimum of 5 years of F5 engineering experience Expertise in F5 BIG-IP (LTM, DNS, VE) Skills in HAProxy design and tuning Familiarity with Kubernetes ingress controllers Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud-native load balancers Proficiency in automation using Ansible, Python, or Terraform India Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
