Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk Extended Care, LLC Location: Evanston, IL – Support Office Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site Salary Range: $38,000–$50,000 annually About Extended Care, LLC Extended Care, LLC provides management and support services to long-term care facilities. Position Overview Extended Care, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join our team at our Evanston, Illinois Support Office. The ideal candidate will have prior long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes within the healthcare or senior care environment. This is a full-time, on-site position for someone who is organized, accurate, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Match invoices to purchase orders and other supporting records when applicable. Prepare and process vendor payments according to established payment schedules. Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies. Communicate with facility personnel and vendors regarding invoice and payment inquiries.

Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records. Assist with month-end closing activities and A/P reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and established accounting procedures. Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home accounting is required. Prior accounts payable experience preferred. Knowledge of vendor invoice processing and payment procedures.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
