About the role

The Transaction Management Team is responsible for the ongoing management and operational oversight of a portfolio of complex trade receivables finance and securitisation programmes following transaction close. The team acts as a key point of contact for corporate clients, investors, and other transaction parties, ensuring that reporting and critical funding processes are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timelines.

Its responsibilities include reviewing investor and management reports, monitoring transaction performance, overseeing payments and reconciliations, managing operational issues and transaction changes, supporting audits and maintaining appropriate governance and controls. The team also works closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, increase automation and ensure that programmes remain operationally robust, compliant and scalable throughout their lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of a portfolio of trade receivables financing and securitisation programmes, working closely with more senior Transaction Management colleagues.
  • Review transaction and investor reports, checking the accuracy of data, calculations and transaction mechanics against documented requirements and established procedures.
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies, data quality issues and operational exceptions, working with colleagues to understand and resolve their underlying causes.
  • Monitor transaction performance and recurring reporting requirements, identifying exceptions and escalating issues promptly.
  • Process payments and perform reconciliations, market data updates and other recurring operational activities accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Develop knowledge of platform processes and work closely with Client Implementation and Client Support teams to support the smooth implementation and ongoing processing of transactions.
  • Assist with queries from corporate clients, investors, funders and service providers and increasingly communicate directly with stakeholders as experience develops.
  • Maintain transaction procedures, reporting calendars and appropriate operational records and controls.
  • Support the onboarding and transition of new transactions into the Transaction Management team.
  • Contribute to audits, transaction changes and cross-functional projects as required.
  • Identify opportunities to make reporting and operational processes more accurate, efficient and scalable.
  • Develop a strong understanding of individual transaction structures, documentation and reporting methodologies through practical experience and ongoing learning.

What you bring

  • Relevant experience in structured finance, securitisation, trade receivables finance, banking, financial operations or another relevant financial-services environment.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with financial data and complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to checking calculations, reports and data.
  • An interest in developing a strong understanding of transaction structures, financial reporting and operational controls.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies logically and methodically.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities while seeking guidance when appropriate.
  • A proactive mindset and an interest in improving processes, controls and automation.
  • A willingness to learn and develop specialist knowledge within Transaction Management.
