SAP MM Functional Consulting and Tester

• The candidate should be able to perform the below from SAP MM Skillset
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Configuration: Set up and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice verifications in SAP S/4HANA
• Inventory & Logistics Management: Handle stock transport orders, physical inventory, batch management, subcontracting, and vendor consignment
• Cross-Module Integration: Connect SAP MM with related modules such as Finance/Controlling (FICO), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP)
• Functional Specifications: Write detailed requirements for ABAP developers to build custom reports, enhancements, and system interfaces (IDocs, APIs, EDI).
• Testing & Support: Execute unit and user acceptance testing (UAT), perform system cutovers, train end-users, and provide post-go-live production support
• Testing : Work on all phases of testing SIT, UAT and working to create automation test scripts
• Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.
• Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems
• Work with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards / technology/ systems focusing on the SAP MM modules
• Perform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionality / process gaps
• Recommend possible technology / process solution to address gaps
• Deploy SAP S/4 MM across various sites globally and integrate with both legacy & other best-in-breed applications
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Defining the overall test strategy, scope, and approach for the project.
• Preparing and managing test plans, test scenarios, and test schedules.
• Coordinating SIT, UAT, regression, and other testing phases with functional and technical teams
• Ensuring defects are logged with proper analysis, prioritization, and follow-up until closure.
• Ensuring test evidence, documentation, and sign-offs are completed as per governance standards.
• Analyse the need for customization and prioritize the RICEFW objects and size them
• Create functional specification, Key design document, prototypes or Proof-of-Concepts wherever required
• Have good functional knowledge on IDOC’s, BADI, Fiori applications etc.
• Troubleshooting and resolving functional issues related to the SAP MM system.
• Collaborating with the technical team to understand and implement business requirements.
• Ensuring the system is performing optimally and securely.
• Work closely with the Test Automation team and assist in providing functional expertise for development of automation test scriptsusing Tricentis TOSCA for SAP S/4HANA
• Working on testing activities across various releases of the MMP Program
• We are looking for a S4 Hana Material Management (MM) Consultant with the following skills:
• Industry process knowledge, solution expertise, consultation skills in SAP MM
• Excellent understanding of the overall SAP MM solution and how it is implemented in conjunction with other components of the S/4 HANA modules like SAP Production Planning and SAP PPDS
• Good knowledge on automotive assembly and manufacturing domain with good communication skills

Experience in SAP MM module configuration

• Experience working in SAP S4 Hana environment
• Handled / worked with global teams
• Automotive experience is preferred
• Support in an onshore/offshore model is preferred
