About the role

• Assisting with the implementation and ongoing administration of employee share plans, including EMI, CSOP and other share incentive arrangements.
• Producing written reports, or contribute to written reports on the tax implications of various employment related share ownership situations
• Calculating the personal and corporate tax implications in connection with employee share ownership
• Preparing share scheme employee communications and slide decks
• Preparing annual Employment Related Securities returns and EMI notifications
• Researching legislation and HMRC guidance, including providing technical analysis on the tax treatment on various share incentive arrangements and the impact new legislation may have on clients.
• Drafting client correspondence and liaising with clients and other advisers to support the delivery of client engagements.
• What are we looking for?
• You may be working towards, or interested in working towards, a relevant professional qualification such as ATT, ACA or CTA, or have equivalent experience.
• You may have some prior experience in tax, accounting, legal or professional services, although we are also interested in people who can demonstrate strong potential and a genuine interest in employee share plans, reward or corporate tax.
• You have good attention to detail, enjoy working with numbers and written analysis, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
• You communicate clearly and professionally, and are keen to develop confidence in drafting emails, reports, client communications and technical notes.
• You are curious, willing to learn and comfortable asking questions, with an interest in developing specialist technical knowledge over time.
• You are organised and dependable, with the ability to manage deadlines, keep track of competing priorities and seek support where needed.
• You enjoy understanding how businesses work and are interested in how share plans can help clients recruit, retain and motivate their people.
• You are confident using Microsoft Office and open to using technology and approved AI tools to improve efficiency, quality and the way we work as a team.
