Job Description

Role Overview: Manage and support Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle E-Business Suite environments, with responsibility for updates, patching, troubleshooting, environment readiness, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle EBS environments, including updates, patching, cloning, migrations, and validation.
• Troubleshoot application, database, configuration, and update failures and drive incidents to closure.
• Support Oracle Database administration, backup, recovery, performance, release, change, and access-management activities.
• Coordinate global handovers and improve operational automation through shell scripting or orchestration tools.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Applications Management, FA Updates, patching, and production support.
• Oracle Applications DBA expertise covering Oracle EBS, Oracle Database, backup and recovery, cloning, migrations, patching, and upgrades.
• Experience with OCI Gen 1, OCI Gen 2, FAaaS, Linux or Solaris, and Unix shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident management, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience supporting global or follow-the-sun operations.

Good-to-Have Skills

• PL/SQL, WebLogic, WebSphere, SQL*Loader, and application-server administration.
• Orchestration or end-to-end automation of Fusion update processes.
• Oracle DBA, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Applications certification.
• Technical mentoring and experience supporting enterprise-scale Oracle environments.
• Shift Requirement : UK Work Shift: Candidate must be comfortable working in the UK shift, with working hours extending until approximately 10:30–11:00 PM IST.
