Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer with strong expertise in RDMA/NIC technologies, L2/L3 networking, Linux-based packet processing, and network datapath debugging. The role requires hands-on technical experience across server-side and network-side technologies, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking and platform issues.

The ideal candidate will bring strong architecture and development experience and be comfortable providing technical leadership across design, development, debugging, testing and product stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support RDMA/NIC and networking software solutions.
• Work on server-side and network-side technologies, including RDMA/PSNIC related development.
• Contribute to architecture, design, implementation, code reviews and technical problem-solving.
• Develop and debug networking functionality across L2/L3 switching and packet-processing paths.
• Troubleshoot complex datapath and network issues across software, Linux and ASIC layers.
• Work on feature development, unit testing, integration, build stabilization and release readiness.
• Analyse field/customer issues and perform detailed root-cause analysis.
• Debug areas such as traffic loss, VLAN tagging, MAC/FDB learning, QoS and packet Rx/Tx paths.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across networking, platform and server-side technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and drive technical solutions for complex problems.

Experience / Education

12+ years of relevant software/networking engineering experience, with significant hands-on technical depth.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
