Job Description Summary
The Senior Staff Technical Program Manager – Infrastructure and Platform will be a key leader in a new AI enablement team within our defense systems business. The team’s mission is to accelerate time-to-value with AI by enabling safe, scalable experimentation and maturing successful pilots into enterprise-grade solutions.
In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders and multiple DT/technical teams to define scope, requirements, and execution plans that enable deployment and integration of AI and related technologies. You will own program execution end-to-end, driving clarity, alignment, and transparency across all parties. The successful candidate will embody an innovators DNA Handler mindset: proactive, resourceful, bias to action, and relentlessly focused on turning AI potential into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and backlog management
- Own the platform product backlog and intake: how platform work is requested, prioritized, sequenced, and released
- Translate the Director's roadmap into a resourced plan with physical dates and one named owner per action
- Run the daily management, WOR, and MOR cadence for the platform team — managing the plan to Green rather than reporting status
- Drive adoption of the single golden-path delivery pipeline across the four product-development teams, tracking adoption and removing friction
- Coordinate the onboarding of teams onto shared services and the paved road, with clear entry criteria and support
