The Sr Project Manager – Steam Power - Nuclear is responsible for Project Management, Planning, and Coordination typically in the context of a Services Project to fulfill GE Vernova’s customer outage requirements for the Nuclear Power Business, according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is focused on the execution of outage activities, within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures
The Project Manager Role Includes
- Provide project leadership and guidance from project conception through to project delivery; to the customer and to conduct project feedback reviews at the appropriate time
- Development and management of costs with ongoing estimates to completion of projects
- Development, planning and management of the project schedules and payment milestones, while providing contingency planning where required, to ensure a timely delivery
- Managing the contractual scope content ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed
- Risk and Opportunity management. Ensuring that all risks and issues are identified and mitigated
- To communicate effectively with all the stakeholders, both internal and external while maintaining excellent relations with customers, peers, Engineering, and global teams
- It is expected that this position will act as the focus for project-based activities and perform other related duties as assigned or requested
