Staff Security Engineer, Trust and Safety Intel Security Engineering

Drive T&S Intel's Detection & Response functions, including pre-incident preparedness activities, cross-Google development of relationships, playbooks, and escalation procedures, and process improvement. Support urgent detection & response for critical AI security issues impacting external users, developers, and the general public, including on-call incident management during business hours. Support T&S Intel with security subject-matter expertise.

Develop tools, processes, and signal sources supporting detection, enrichment, and analysis of security-related issues, especially focused on risks related to GenAI products. Inform and mobilize decision makers and other stakeholders to catalyze systemic risk mitigation and enhance transparency. Lead communications between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safety of our users, coordinate responsible voluntary and/or mandatory disclosures, and drive long-term risk reduction.
