Lead and scale DeepMind and Google's frontier AI policy advocacy across US federal and state jurisdictions. Serve as a primary policy POC internally across Google on US Frontier AI Policy issues, and supporting and coordinating external engagement with US federal bodies, including the Administration and the Congress, as well as priority state legislatures, working across broader GAPP teams. Drive statutory analysis, legislative redlines, testimony preparation, and technical briefings across high-velocity US state and federal AI bills.
Execute proactive policy campaigns that translate DeepMind frontier safety approach and research into actionable policy recommendations. Support internal AI business units within the Google ecosystems on both proactive and reactive policy areas of distinct interest.
