Analyze accounting treatments for complex, non-standard agreements under ASC 606, partnering with Technical Accounting to ensure system readiness and recommending agreement structure adjustments to reduce downstream friction.
Oversee business recognition processes, deliver through month-end close analysis, and prepare executive-level Profit and Loss (P&L) variance commentary and schedules for Controllership leadership. Advocate process improvements to automate routine tasks, execute the advisory operating model, and support financial system rollouts including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data integrity. Advocate internal controls to ensure robust SOX compliance, support audit documentation, represent Controllership in working groups, and provide informal mentorship and onboarding for junior analysts.
