Define, lead, and execute large-scale, complex strategic programs to transform and optimize ESC's procurement operations. Develop program charters, define scope, set objectives, and actively manage timelines and resources. Identify and analyze breakdowns and inefficiencies in existing procurement processes. Design and implement new, scalable processes, tools, and automation solutions to improve operational excellence, reduce cycle times, minimize risk, and lower costs.
Provide strategic direction and oversight for key procurement operations functions, such as purchase order lifecycle management, supplier onboarding and enablement, contract compliance, and procure-to-pay processes. Apply technical understanding of the equipment being procured and the systems used (e.g., ERP, procurement platforms) to inform process design and guide program decisions. Define, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for procurement operations.
Identify potential risks and obstacles within procurement operations and develop mitigation strategies.
