Humana is a $100+ billion, Fortune 50 healthcare leader dedicated to improving the health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable populations in the United States, including seniors, people with disabilities, and lower-income Americans. Humana is uniquely positioned to transform healthcare delivery by making high-quality care more affordable, accessible, and secure through integrated healthcare services, innovative technology, and data-driven solutions.

To help deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the evolution of the data foundation powering Humana's enterprise Next Best Action (NBA) decisioning capability. This role will serve as the product leader responsible for defining, prioritizing, and scaling the data assets required to enable personalized, context-aware engagement across channels and business functions. You will partner across business, data, engineering, architecture, and product organizations to translate emerging use cases into scalable data capabilities.

You will help shape how enterprise data is identified, onboarded, governed, and leveraged to support decisioning, personalization, reporting, and measurement across Humana's growing NBA ecosystem.

This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in product management, data product management, business analysis, or enterprise data strategy who are passionate about turning complex business needs into reusable, enterprise-scale data capabilities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for the NBA Foundation team, ensuring alignment with the broader NBA vision and enterprise priorities.
  • Serve as Product Owner for an agile scrum team, driving prioritization, backlog refinement, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand emerging Next Best Action use cases and translate business objectives into scalable business requirements.
  • Define and maintain the capabilities necessary to support decisioning, eligibility, completion indicators, measurement, and reporting across NBA use cases.
  • Collaborate with information owners, engineering teams, architects, and enterprise data organizations to identify, onboard, and operationalize required data assets.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of NBA assets, including current availability, future needs, dependencies, and onboarding status.
  • Drive alignment across product, business, data, and technology teams to ensure solution readiness supports planned roadmap delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse existing enterprise and NBA assets, reducing redundancy and accelerating solution delivery.
  • Anticipate future capability needs and help define common, reusable data capabilities that support broader adoption of NBA across the enterprise.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and prioritization conflicts that could impact use case delivery or strategic objectives.
  • Promote consistent documentation, governance, and information management practices that improve scalability, transparency, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Partner with NBA product teams to ensure alignment between capability availability and downstream platform capabilities, including decisioning, user experience, reporting, and channel activation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Data Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related discipline working across business and technology teams.
  • Experience serving as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role supporting agile software development teams.
  • Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized development backlogs.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and defining business and information requirements that support business capabilities across multiple use cases, products, or lines of business.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data concepts, including data sourcing, business definitions, data quality, metadata, dependencies, and data availability.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and identify appropriate data sources required to support business objectives.
  • Experience partnering with data engineering, analytics, architecture, or enterprise data teams to deliver business capabilities.
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple technology teams, products, or business initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities before they impact delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate work across concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and build alignment across stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization.
