The role involves leading the design and development of a Kubernetes-native HCI platform, with deep expertise in storage architecture, CSI/CNI, Linux kernel development, and high-performance networking. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership and drive platform reliability, performance, and complex customer issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and development of storage subsystems, including NVMe, block storage, and CSI drivers.
- Lead CNI networking, SR-IOV, NIC offloading, and high-performance networking solutions.
- Design and optimize embedded Linux services, kernel modules, and low-level platform components.
- Drive performance benchmarking, reliability testing, failure handling, and platform scalability.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex customer escalations related to storage, networking, and kernel-level issues.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, code reviews, design guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Support, and Services teams to improve platform quality and customer outcomes.
