Odoo Developer

Key

Responsibilities

• ●Develop and customize Odoo modules based on business
• requirements.
• ●Work on existing Odoo modules and make necessary
• customizations.
• ●Develop models, fields, views, menus, actions, and access
• rights in Odoo.
• ●Create and customize reports using QWeb.
• ●Work with Odoo ORM and PostgreSQL for data-related
• requirements.
• ●Develop basic integrations with third-party systems using
• REST APIs.
• ●Debug and fix functional and technical issues in Odoo
• applications.
• ●Participate in testing, deployment, and production
• support activities.
• ●Work closely with functional consultants and senior
• developers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• ●Follow coding standards and maintain proper technical
• documentation.
• ●Learn and work with different Odoo versions and assist
• with module migration when required.

Required Skills

& Experience

Must Have

• ●2+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• ●Good knowledge of Python programming.
• ●Basic to good understanding of Odoo framework and ORM.
• ●Experience in developing and customizing Odoo modules.
• ●Knowledge of Odoo models, fields, views, menus, actions,
• and access rights.
• ●Experience with XML and QWeb reports.
• ●knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, Postgresql.
• ●Understanding of Odoo security and user access controls.
• ●Basic experience with REST APIs and third-party
• integrations.
• ●Familiarity with Git for version control.
• ●Basic knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu.
• ●Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Odoo development
• issues.
• ●Good understanding of Odoo Community and Enterprise
• Modules.
• Nice to Have
• ●Experience working with e-commerce integrations or
• payment gateways.
• ●Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms such as
• GCP, AWS or Azure.
• ●Experience with Odoo version upgrades or module
• migration.
• ●Interest in learning and implementing AI/automation
• solutions within Odoo.

Educational

Qualification

• ●Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science,
• Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• ●Equivalent practical experience in Odoo development will
• also be considered.
