Join a world-class growth team building the future of how small businesses discover, adopt, and grow with QuickBooks. As a Senior Staff Product Designer on Product Growth, you'll own design strategy, craft, and outcomes for one of our biggest company bets — spanning acquisition, activation, engagement, monetization, and retention across the customer lifecycle.
You'll set design direction across multiple product areas, shape where we play and how we win experientially, and rally engineering, product, data science, and marketing behind a clear, customer-backed point of view. This is an offering-level role for someone who thinks in systems, journeys, and durable design capabilities, not one-off screens — and who holds a high bar for craft even in a fast-moving, experiment-driven environment.
Growth priorities shift as we learn, so this role is built to flex. You may anchor on top bets like Mid-Market growth or scaling our freemium front door, with scope evolving as the business and your strengths dictate.
At Intuit, we're intentionally building AI into how we design, prototype, and ship — and we're committed to equipping our teams to work at the forefront of it. We look for designers who are excited to bring AI into their workflow — using it to move faster, explore further, and save their energy for the decisions that only human judgment and creativity can make. We're looking for designers who are curious, eager to experiment, and excited to continually evolve how they work.
Responsibilities
Own the design strategy and vision for a major product area, connecting near-term experimentation to durable, high-quality customer experiences across the lifecycle.
Directly accountable for experience quality and business results — conversion, activation, engagement, and retention — partnering with PM on clear North Star and operational KPIs.
Drive an AI-first design strategy, reimagining end-to-end customer journeys with AI at the center rather than polishing features in isolation.
Design experiences that make AI-powered features intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for a diverse range of users
Set the bar for a high-velocity design and experimentation culture, from discovery and concepting through rapid prototyping and A/B testing on the highest-leverage surfaces — without sacrificing craft for speed.
Up-level design craft across the team: raise the standard for visual, interaction, and systems-level design, and ensure experiments and shipped features alike reflect a high quality, cohesive product experience.
Influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners with compelling, craft-forward storytelling and research-backed points of view; align teams on target customers and the experience needed to win them.
Coach designers and partners around you on both craft and strategic thinking, and help shape the team's identity, design standards, and operating model as we scale the growth muscle.
Partner deeply with product, engineering, data science, and growth marketing to ship scalable, high-quality, high-craft solutions.
10+ years of product design experience, with a strong focus on product-led growth, funnel/conversion design, or growth in a B2B or SaaS environment.
Track record of owning offering- or segment-level design strategy and delivering measurable business outcomes across acquisition, activation, engagement, or retention — without compromising on experience quality.
Deep expertise in experimentation and A/B testing, with fluency in behavioral data, funnel analytics, and how customers actually experience a product.
Experience designing with AI/ML — personalization, predictive engagement, and AI-accelerated discovery and delivery — within a product growth context.
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into your design workflow to improve quality, speed, or exploration
Demonstrated ability to up-level design craft across a team: strong point of view on visual and interaction design quality, systems thinking, and consistency at scale.
Excellent storytelling, communication, and influence skills; you can rally senior executives and cross-functional partners around a clear vision and a strong point of view.
Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage org building; you've helped stand up or scale a design practice within a growth function, and you coach others to a higher bar on both craft and outcomes.
Strong portfolio demonstrating rigorous craft, systems-level thinking, and measurable impact at scale.
