Your impact
This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in our growing Cyber Security team as a Graduate Cybersecurity Consultant. You will support Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) clients across sectors including Energy, Water, Rail, Highways, Aviation and Defence. You will learn to work at the intersection of engineering, operational technology (OT) and cybersecurity, helping organisations protect the systems that underpin the UK's critical infrastructure.
Working alongside experienced consultants, engineers and operational teams, you will contribute to live client engagements from day one. The focus of this role is OT risk assessment, regulatory compliance and bid support, with structured mentoring as you build your technical depth.
Day to Day
Support OT cybersecurity risk assessments, including asset identification, zone and conduit modelling, and security level assessment in line with IEC 62443.
Work alongside engineers and operational teams to understand system architectures, operational requirements and potential security risks.
Help review OT networks, industrial control systems and supplier documentation to identify ways to improve security and resilience.
Assist with gap analyses against standards and regulations, such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, the ISO/IEC 27000 series, the UK NIS Regulations, NIS2, the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
Produce clear technical documentation, reports and client deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences.
Communicate progress, risks and findings to project teams and, with support, to clients.
Keep up to date with developments in OT cybersecurity, industrial technologies, emerging threats and regulatory change.
