About the role
The Operations Lead – Accounts sits within our Projects and Development space at JLL and will be the operational backbone of the Accounts Hub. This role ensures that the hub runs effectively as a business unit, that accounts are properly resourced, governed, and commercially supported and that the Director has the operational visibility needed to manage portfolio performance and meet financial targets.
Many named accounts have delivery occurring across multiple states, making cross-hub coordination a core feature of the role rather than an exception. The Operations Lead – Accounts is also the primary interface between the Accounts Hub and the national commercial team for data integrity and financial reporting.
Day to day responsibilities
Maintain a current and forward-looking view of resource capacity and account demand across the full portfolio, matching onshore and JBS capacity to account requirements
Identify resourcing constraints, shortfalls, or surpluses early and escalate to the Director with a recommended response
Own the operational mechanism by which PMO teams provide commercial data to the national commercial team, including cadence, format, and completeness
Proactively follow up with Account Directors and PMO Leads where commercial data is incomplete, inaccurate, or overdue
Support the Director in preparing hub financial reporting by providing accurate operational data on headcount, utilisation, and resourcing costs
Flag to the Director where operational conditions are likely to affect hub financial outcomes
Oversee compliance with JLL's project delivery framework, HSSE requirements, and governance standards across all accounts in the portfolio
Conduct and coordinate Account/Project reviews, health checks, and audits across named accounts
Maintain portfolio-level registers of project risk, commercial exposure, and compliance status
Manage day-to-day utilisation of JBS resources allocated to the hub, monitoring output quality and identifying opportunities to increase utilisation
Act as the primary operational interface with Northern and Southern Hub Ops Leads for accounts with cross-geography delivery, escalating unresolvable conflicts to the Accounts Hub Director
Foster a culture that is commercially rigorous, client-focused, and people-positive, holding direct reports accountable through clear expectations and honest feedback
Support the identification, development, and retention of talent, including building succession depth
Build and maintain relationships with national leaders across other JLL business lines to facilitate cross-referral and joint client engagement
Key Skills Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project/construction management, operations, programme governance, or account management in a professional services or construction environment
- Experience managing or governing complex, multi-state or multi-account programmes, cross-geography coordination is central to this rol
- Commercially literate, understands P&L drivers, margin management, and the link between PMO data quality and financial outcomes
- Strong data discipline, able to own the commercial data flow between PMO teams and the national commercial function
- Experience with JBS or offshore blended delivery teams is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Certinia, SAP, or equivalent systems used in account delivery environments
- Collaborative and enabling operating style, the role is to make Account Directors and the Director more effective
- HSEQ governance experience and familiarity with PMO delivery frameworks
