Responsibilities
Keysight is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to serve as the primary support and engineering resource for our JFrog Artifactory platform. You will be the first point of contact for Artifactory users, help shape and roll out repository policies, and build automation that makes the platform easier and safer to use. You will also apply AI tools and agentic workflows to improve support quality, speed, and reliability. You will work closely with Operations leads and Software DevOps teams across Keysight.
Responsibilities
Serve as first-line contact for Artifactory application support through the ServiceNow and Jira Service Management (JSM) portals.
Resolve support requests, including new repositories, replications and other configuration changes, permissions, and troubleshooting of application and REST API issues.
Support repository creation as new policies roll out, including some R&D and proof-of-concept work.
Help develop automation, including ServiceNow integration, for repository requests and permission changes.
Identify and pilot AI-assisted use cases that reduce manual effort, such as ticket triage and categorization, suggested responses, knowledge base and runbook generation, log and error analysis, and request-to-repository automation.
Use approved AI tools to accelerate scripting, REST API automation, troubleshooting, and documentation, and validate all AI-generated output before use.
Work day to day with Operations leads and join daily/weekly stand-ups and high-level escalations.
Monitor observability dashboards and act proactively on potential issues, evaluating AI-driven anomaly detection and alert summarization where it adds value.
Continuously test new JFrog features and improvements, including JFrog’s AI-enabled capabilities as they become available.
Partner with Software DevOps teams to share best practices for permission management and artifact cleanup automation, and to define procedures and documentation that support our policies, including guidance on the secure and responsible use of AI in software delivery.

- Scripting or automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Curiosity and sound judgment in using AI tools to improve productivity, with awareness of data privacy, security, and accuracy considerations.
- Clear written and verbal communication, and a service-minded approach to supporting engineers.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience using generative AI or LLM-based assistants for engineering or IT operations work (for example, code and script generation, troubleshooting, documentation).
- Experience building or integrating AI-enabled or agentic workflows, such as automation platforms, API-based integrations, or prompt design for repeatable tasks.
