IPT Lead Role Opportunity – Typhoon Development
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Electronic Warfare (EW) Combat Air Sector, at Leonardo Luton. The Sector is responsible for the leadership and delivery of multinational EW capability on both Typhoon and Tempest combat aircraft. This individual will lead one of the key Typhoon EW Development Integrated Project Teams (IPT), responsible for delivering world leading EW capabilities into Eurofighter Core Nations (GER, IT, SP, UK) and Export Nations while also contributing to the overall Sector strategy for Typhoon and Tempest.
The Typhoon Development area is made up of several IPTs delivering complex activities across EuroDASS and the consortium partners. This particular IPT is the largest and most complex within the Typhoon Development area with a portfolio delivering capability updates for 4 Nation and Export warfighters while also conducting complex obsolescence removal to protect future ac production across a multitude of customers.
As a Eurofighter programme, the role requires leadership and management of international partners in EuroDASS and complex interaction into BAES as the overall responsible for the Typhoon Defensive Aids Sub-System (DASS). It also requires leadership of the cross functional delivery team within Leonardo for its scope of work and overall system integration and qualification before delivery into BAES for aircraft integration.
The IPT Lead is expected to be an excellent communicator with all levels of seniority and a variety of nationalities and cultures. Due to this, European travel should be anticipated.
