Lirvana Labs Technology/Software

Senior Solutions Architect, Forward-Deployed (Asia)

Singapore, Singapore In person Full-time

About Lirvana Labs Lirvana Labs is on a rocketship startup trajectory, driving transformational, global-scale impact across education. Its flagship platform, Mission Control, is the world's first AI Mission Control for global education. It replaces hundreds of hours of manual data aggregation across disconnected systems to deliver real-time intelligence for school improvement, track intervention effectiveness, and power accountability for education leadership.

Complementing this, our learning solution, Yeti Confetti Kids, provides an AI-powered personalized teaching co-pilot for early numeracy and literacy across 200+ skills aligned to Common Core, CASEL, and Bloom's Taxonomy, equipping educators with actionable insights into every child's cognitive, social, and emotional development. Founded in 2021 and backed by tier-one investors including Kapor Capital, Transcend Capital Partners, and Chingona Ventures, Lirvana Labs powers a fast-moving, high-performing global team operating out of Silicon Valley, New York City, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Honored with accolades including the MIT Solve Global Learning Challenge, EDTECH Week NYC Innovation Award, IEI's Superintendent Choice Award, and H&K EdCity T&L Award, we partner directly with pioneering institutions such as the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop, NYC Public Schools, and the Hong Kong Education Bureau to co-design AI systems that redefine the future of learning. The Role We're hiring a senior Solutions Architect to be the technical face of Lirvana in Asia.

You'll sit across the table from government education agencies, school boards, superintendents and principals, earn their technical trust, and get our platform deployed and running in their environment. In Asia, seniority and credibility matter in the room. We're looking for an experienced engineer who has been the go-to cloud, infrastructure or platform person for enterprise customers, and who now understands how AI agents, connectors and harnesses work.

This is a deployment role, not a platform engineering role. You'll configure, integrate and extend our platform for each customer, and work with our core engineering team on anything that needs to change in the product. If you've spent years making complex systems work for large organisations and want your next chapter to be mission-driven, this role is for you. What You'll Do Be the senior technical voice in the room (30% Customer & Stakeholder Engagement).

Join Sales in meetings with government agencies, school boards, superintendents and principals. Lead technical discovery, answer infrastructure, security and data privacy questions, and build the credibility that moves large accounts forward. Own deployments end to end (50% Deployment Engineering). Configure and deploy our platform for each customer. Integrate with their existing systems (student information systems, LMS, SSO and identity, data sources), set up agentic workflows and connectors, and take each deployment through go-live and handoff.

Turn requirements into delivery plans (20% Solutioning). Convert ambiguous customer needs into structured technical requirements, scope work against our platform capabilities, and flag what belongs on the roadmap. Support procurement and compliance. Lead the technical side of RFPs and government tenders, security questionnaires, data protection reviews and data residency requirements. Drive deals to close. Co-own the pipeline with Sales.

Use working deployments and POCs to turn qualified opportunities into signed partnerships. Communicate timelines clearly to customers and internally. Set expectations honestly and keep all sides aligned. Feed the roadmap. When an opportunity needs net-new capabilities, work with the Head of Product, Head of Engineering and DevOps to scope it and decide how (and whether) it fits the roadmap. Build the Asia technical bench.

Create repeatable deployment playbooks and mentor junior engineers and contractors as the APAC team grows. Who You Are Senior and credible. You've been the trusted technical lead in front of enterprise or government customers, and senior stakeholders take your word on technical matters. A systems engineer who has gone deep on AI. You are an expert at system design and integration. Your background is in cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering, and you've kept up.

You understand how LLM agents, tool connectors and agent harnesses work, and you've built with them. Hands-on. You write and own production code and configuration, and you're comfortable debugging a customer's environment yourself. Exceptional communicator. You explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and set timelines crisply, externally and internally. Strong bias toward action. You move quickly, make decisions, and unblock yourself.

You'd rather ship a scoped solution than perfect a slide. Mission-driven. You want to join because of what we're doing in education. High ownership. You work autonomously in a small regional team, with HQ in a different time zone. Technical Background 7+ years in software, cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering, including 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles (solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical account management or similar).

Enterprise cloud experience, hands-on with at least one of AWS, GCP or Azure, including networking, identity and access management, containers and CI/CD. Systems integration experience, including APIs, SSO (SAML/OAuth), data connectors and ETL pipelines. On-premises deployment experience, including building and deploying systems in on-prem and hybrid environments as a core requirement. Have hands-on experience building AI agents and evaluation, including LLM tool use, connectors (e.g.

MCP) and how to deploy and evaluate agentic workflows safely. Solid SQL and data modeling skills. Security and compliance awareness, including data protection requirements (e.g. Singapore PDPA, Philippines Data Privacy Act) and data residency. Project management and timeline tracking across multiple concurrent customer deployments. Customer-facing sales experience, including working with multiple stakeholders, handling objections and presenting to senior leadership.

Strong judgment around technical tradeoffs and autonomous day-to-day decision-making. Nice-to-Haves Forward-deployed engineering experience. Public sector or education experience in Asia, including government procurement. Snowflake and workflow automation tools such as n8n. Startup or entrepreneurial experience. Languages used across our markets, such as Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, Vietnamese or Filipino. Benefits Claude/Codex Pro subscription Access to coworking spaces (Spaces) in Singapore Healthcare and benefits Competitive comp + equity + sales commission based on experience Based in Singapore or Hong Kong for APAC deals.

Candidates will go through two weeks of onboarding at Menlo Park, California at our Global HQ. Commitment, mission alignment and trust are key.
