The DFC Business Analyst I will support our reporting and analytics platforms while also assisting in our shift to next generation business software solutions. Working as part of a cross-functional development team, Business Analysts have a ground-up impact on our systems, our business, and most importantly, our customers.

The DFC Business Analyst I reports to the DFC Business Systems Supervisor.

Location:Tigard, OR

Target Hiring Range: At Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $60,000- $85,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be $60,000 - $70,000 determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

What You'll Do

• Apply data analysis and research skills to identify key indicators, test hypotheses and guide actions with respect to the loan transaction life cycle
• Engage with business leaders to understand objectives and continually align work with those objectives to meet the needs of the business
• Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes and solve problems at their root cause
• Define the business problem and solution approach autonomously with limited guidance
• Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards, and deep dive analyses
• Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights
• Partner with data development teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
• Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience with a heavy emphasis on data and analytics
• Excellent knowledge of relevant technologies, reporting systems and data analytics.
