Help shape the technology foundation that keeps our factories connected, secure and ready for the future. As Global Technology Lead, Factory Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure, you’ll serve as the global technical authority for the strategy, standard architecture and lifecycle of the industrial IT/OT infrastructure supporting Mars Snacking’s manufacturing operations. Your scope will span the systems that connect, host and secure plant-floor automation assets, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and manufacturing systems.

You’ll guide the transition from decentralized, standalone assets to a standardized portfolio supported by managed services. Working across global, regional and site teams, you’ll bring together technology strategy, service management and governance to strengthen operational resilience and cybersecurity. Success will require both technical depth and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear priorities that others can understand and act on.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Establish the global standards, architecture and technical direction for Factory OT infrastructure, creating a consistent foundation across manufacturing sites.

Develop a combined technology and service strategy that addresses operational needs, infrastructure lifecycle management and long-term business priorities.

Guide the transition from locally managed, standalone assets toward a standardized portfolio with clearly defined services, governance and support.

Embed OT service-management principles into how infrastructure is deployed, operated, maintained and improved.

Drive operational resilience and cybersecurity across industrial networks, hosting platforms and software and infrastructure license management.

Oversee program delivery and service execution, working with regional and site teams to translate strategy into practical implementation.

Partner with stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements, evaluate technical options and align priorities across teams.

Communicate complex technical topics clearly, building support for global standards and helping teams adopt new ways of working.

What are we looking for?

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT equivalent.

6+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years as a project manager, preferably in the food industry.

Experience with industrial IT/OT infrastructure and an understanding of how networks, hosting platforms and automation systems support manufacturing operations.

A good understanding of Design, automation, integration, safety, quality and food safety.

The ability to connect technology strategy with reliable service delivery and the day-to-day needs of manufacturing sites.

Strong project-management skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders, manage competing priorities and move initiatives into execution.

Clear communication and influencing skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to nontechnical audiences and build support across a global organization.

Relevant technical certifications are highly regarded, including Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, GIAC GICSP or PMP.
