MEININGER Hotels is looking for an Junior Accountant (f/m/d) - Accounts Payable who will be managing the purchase ledger, resolving all queries in a timely manner and ensure that all payments are made to terms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts payable - Kreditorenbuchhaltung

• Invoice verification, account assignment and posting of vendor invoices, account reconciliation and supplier communication
• Monthly postings for Inventory, Petty cash, Salary, Recurring bookings
• General ledger and subledger reconciliation (management of open items)
• Master data creation and maintenance of vendor
• Processing of incoming mail

Document Management Administration

Cash Management

Preparation of the weekly payment proposal lists Processing of domestic and foreign payment transactions

Payment and Monitoring of Trade payables

Miscellaneous

Supports month-end processes to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

Participation in the optimization of internal processes

YOUR PROFILE

• Educational degree or relevant qualifications in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Good user skills in ERP Software (ideally Dynamics AX or Navision) with a high level command of MS-Office (especially MS Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
• Business proficiency in English and German
