  • Develop reusable integration services and frameworks
  • Build synchronous and asynchronous integration workflows
  • Implement reliable system-to-system data synchronization
  • Develop integration logic for high-volume enterprise workloads
  • Design integrations that support retries, replay, reconciliation, idempotency, and failure recovery
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and data-flow issues across multiple systems

API Development & Integration

  • Build and consume REST APIs and webhooks
  • Design reusable API clients and integration libraries
  • Implement authentication patterns including OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT, and service credentials
  • Handle API pagination, throttling, rate limits, retries, and transient failures
  • Develop API versioning and backward-compatibility strategies
  • Implement structured request/response validation and error handling
  • Build monitoring and logging around API interactions

Salesforce Integration

  • Build integrations using Salesforce REST API, Bulk API, Composite API, and other Salesforce APIs
  • Implement Salesforce Change Data Capture and Platform Event integrations
  • Develop inbound and outbound Salesforce integration patterns
  • Handle standard objects, custom objects, relationships, and Salesforce schema changes
  • Build scalable synchronization between Salesforce and Snowflake
  • Implement data reconciliation and exception-handling processes
  • Ensure integrations respect Salesforce API limits and platform constraints

Snowflake Integration

  • Build integrations that read from and write to Snowflake
  • Develop efficient bulk and incremental data-loading patterns
  • Build Snowflake-based staging and reconciliation processes
  • Integrate operational applications with curated Snowflake datasets
  • Implement secure Snowflake connectivity and role-based access
  • Work with Data Engineers to define appropriate data contracts and interfaces
  • Support Snowflake-driven downstream workflows and automation

AWS & Event-Driven Integration

  • Build integrations using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, and Step Functions
  • Design event-driven and asynchronous workflows
  • Implement queues and dead-letter queues for reliable message processing
  • Build serverless integration services
  • Implement event routing, filtering, transformation, and delivery patterns
  • Design integrations for horizontal scalability and failure isolation

Integration Reliability

  • Implement idempotency to prevent duplicate processing
  • Build retry strategies with appropriate backoff and failure handling
  • Implement dead-letter queues and replay mechanisms
  • Build reconciliation jobs to identify missing or inconsistent records
  • Design graceful handling for downstream outages and API failures
  • Establish integration SLAs/SLOs where appropriate
  • Participate in troubleshooting and production incident resolution

Security & Governance

  • Implement secure authentication and authorization for integrations
  • Manage credentials and secrets using enterprise secrets-management solutions
  • Apply least-privilege access principles
  • Ensure sensitive information is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Implement audit logging for system interactions
  • Work with Security teams to ensure integrations meet enterprise security standards
  • Implement centralized logging for integration services
  • Build metrics and alerts for failures, latency, throughput, and queue depth
  • Implement distributed tracing where appropriate
  • Create operational dashboards and runbooks
  • Proactively identify integration degradation before it impacts downstream users
  • Support production integrations and participate in incident root-cause analysis

Engineering Excellence

  • Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests
  • Participate in architecture and code reviews
  • Maintain API documentation, integration mappings, and technical runbooks
  • Build CI/CD pipelines for integration services
  • Contribute reusable components to the enterprise integration framework
