Meta delivers 100,000+ product experiences a year across Reality Labs hardware, Meta's family of apps and AI, ranging from tentpole moments like Connect, CES, and Cannes Lions to executive briefings, VIP activations, and retail. Demand for Meta products continues to grow fast, and the work is more complex than ever, with more products, more audiences, and a higher bar for every touchpoint.
We're looking for a senior, hands-on individual contributor to own how those experiences get built and delivered. This role reports to the Head of Product Experiences. About two-thirds of this role involves leading the implementation of product experiences across events, activations, and demos. The remaining third focuses on building and optimizing the systems that help the program to scale, including training, measurement, and insights.
We want a systems and processes thinker who is just as comfortable on the event floor. You'll be in the room making the experience land, and you'll make sure the next one is better because of the systems you've built.
Responsibilities
- Lead product experience implementation (\~2/3 of the role)
- Own end-to-end delivery of a selection of Global Product Experiences programs, in partnership with peers on the team, across tentpole events, activations, executive/VIP demos, and always-on demo programs, starting from scoping and planning through on-site execution and post-event wrap-up
- Translate product priorities and audience goals into the demo footprint: flows, stations, staffing plans, hardware and prototype device readiness, and run of show
- Act as site lead on high-profile programs, directing Product Experience Specialists (PES), contingent workers and agency/vendor partners on the ground
- Lead workstreams across scheduling, logistics, and communications, and keep cross-functional partners (event leads, Product Marketing Managers, Product & Engineering, Creative Technology, Operations) aligned on scope, timelines, and decisions
- Manage vendor and agency partners against clear scopes, quality standards and budgets
- Scope and define new programs and strategic projects, and communicate status, risks, and recommendations crisply to leadership
- Design for the audience. A developer demo, a consumer activation, and a policy dinner should each feel different. Translate product priorities and audience goals into flows, stations, staffing plans, hardware and prototype device readiness, and run of show
- Write the experience brief for each program - the handshake document that aligns event leads, specialists, content, and physical setup around the audience and the product story
- Build and optimize program systems (\~1/3 of the role): Design operational frameworks and oversee internal teams, contingent workers, and vendor partners to sustain and scale them
- Training: Own the training and readiness system for a global PES workforce of over 200 specialists, including audience-segmented demo scripts, certification standards and a training calendar that stays ahead of product launches and event schedules
- Measurement + insights: Define the metrics that matter (demo quality, satisfaction, consideration, throughput), run consistent post-event reporting, and turn field insights into changes to scripts, flows and staffing — and into input Product teams use
- Operating systems: Build the intake, prioritization, roster, and reporting workflows that let the team scale efficiently, using AI and automation as the default approach rather than an afterthought
- Run a disciplined debrief loop so that learnings from every program are captured and deployed into the next one
- Build AI-native systems and shape the AI experience
- AI-native operations: Redesign workflows with AI as the foundation, not a layer on top - AI-assisted script drafting from product briefs, rostering intelligence that matches certified specialists to the right events, and automated post-event reporting. The goal is to build workflows that wouldn't exist without AI
Minimum qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in program management, operations, strategy, or experiential/event production, ideally in consumer tech or hardware
- Track record leading the delivery of high-profile initiatives from concept through on-site execution
- Strong systems and process background: a proven track record of designing, building and scaling operational systems, such as training and certification programs, intake and prioritization workflows, measurement frameworks or reporting, that measurably improved quality, speed, or efficiency
- Experience directing distributed teams, agencies, and vendors across multiple regions. Experienced in influencing cross-functional partners and communicating with executive audiences
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered or automated workflows that change how a team operates
- Ability to travel 25–30%, including on-site event leadership
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in designing and using AI-powered or automated workflows in operations
- Experience in a strategy and operations (BizOps) role at a technology or consumer company, or as a management consultant, with a track record of structuring ambiguous problems and turning recommendations into operating changes
- Experience managing prototype hardware and technical demo flows with Product and Engineering teams
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Experience defining metrics and turning data into program changes
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Familiarity with Meta's product ecosystem (AI glasses, Meta VR, Meta AI)
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
