Overview
Role: Senior Product Manager
Build the commerce engine that powers Copilot's growth.
Every great growth idea, a new offer, a smarter trial, a better upgrade, ends in the same place: a purchase that has to feel effortless and work flawlessly, on every device. You will own the commerce foundations behind Copilot, so that anyone who chooses to pay gets instant access to what they bought, and growth teams can turn a new idea into a live offer in days. This is a growth role disguised as a platform role: the systems you build decide how fast the whole organization can learn.
Why this role, why now
Copilot recently came together as one app across web, desktop and mobile, for consumers and businesses alike. Monetization is moving inside the product, with new plans, add-ons and usage-based offers arriving quickly. Early signals on mobile are solid, and in-app purchase is live across iOS and Android. That makes commerce one of the highest-leverage places to build right now.
How we work
- Small, empowered mission teams with clear ownership.
- Every bet starts with a written hypothesis, is measured rigorously, and decisions are made on evidence.
- AI-native by default: we use AI agents and tools throughout our own workflow to research, prototype, analyze and ship faster.
- Ship fast, learn faster, scale what works.
- India shapes global strategy here, not just execution.
You'll thrive here if…
- You sweat the details of a great purchase moment.
- You know revenue is won or lost in receipts, retries, renewals and edge cases.
- You read API contracts like specs and write your own queries instead of waiting for dashboards.
- You can sketch the state machine for a purchase across store, service and app.
- You move teams you don't manage with clear asks, crisp escalations and a lot of goodwill.
- You form a view, test it and change your mind when the data says so.
- This role may not be for you if…
- You want a fully defined backlog handed to you every cycle.
- You prefer strategy decks to working through a tricky purchase flow with engineers.
- Ambiguity across many partner teams drains you rather than motivates you.
Why join us
Few roles give you this much leverage: the commerce foundations you build will shape how millions of people and businesses buy and experience AI. You will own a critical platform for a global product, with the trust to set direction and a fast-moving, AI-native team beside you. If that excites you, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities
What you will own
- As the dedicated owner of commerce for Copilot Growth, your mission is to make commerce an experimentation platform: growth teams launch new offers and price tests as configuration, not bespoke engineering.
- Offers and entitlements: a clean model for plans, bundles and add-ons, wired correctly from day one.
- Effortless purchase: checkout and purchase flows across web, desktop and mobile, including self-service purchase for businesses.
- Instant access: entitlement that reaches the customer the moment they pay.
- Trials and offers: configurable, targetable and measurable without waiting for an app release.
- App store billing: purchase, renewal and receipts on iOS, Android and Mac, in close partnership with store platforms.
- Usage and recovery: usage-based metering and smooth payment recovery.
- Measurement everywhere: telemetry and experimentation hooks so every commerce change is measured.
- You will partner with platform, engineering, finance, tax, legal and store teams, and move metrics such as purchase success, time to access, checkout conversion and experiment lead time.
- Your first 30 / 60 / 90 days
- First 30 days: understand every purchase path end to end, and the data and partners behind it.
- By 60 days: a hypothesis-led commerce roadmap your partners back.
- By 90 days: a first improvement shipped, and a growth team launching an offer on your foundations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in product management or software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience with commerce, payments, billing, subscriptions or platform products at scale.
- Solid technical depth: API contracts, data schemas, SQL and purchase edge cases.
- Experimentation literacy and a track record of delivering outcomes through teams you don't own.
- App store billing experience (StoreKit, Google Play Billing), including receipt validation.
- Entitlement or licensing systems, or B2B SaaS licensing.
- Fintech, payments or e-commerce experience, including UPI and checkout optimization.
- Pricing and offer engines, SQL or Kusto (KQL), and mentoring other PMs.
